It is our great honor to announce a new name in the slowly-growing family that is the Horlav Press, and that name is Johnny Tenebris.
Johnny Tenebris is a skilled writer and talented semioticist, commanding a master’s fluency in the language many lack.
Mr. Tenebris, born and bred in Horlav, apprenticed under the late Asterwyrth scholar Darren Zander for several years prior to the initial publication of The Darkest Hour, to which he credits his linguistic talents.
What Mr. Tenebris is most known for, however, is his aforementioned radio show with Bent Skies Radio, The Darkest Hour. Praised by critics and the general public alike, The Darkest Hour was considered a masterpiece in audio storytelling, and the medium’s first foray into the horror genre.
Unfortunately, as many of our readers are likely aware, The Darkest Hour was recently canceled for good as Bent Skies Radio abruptly declared bankruptcy, with all of its assets and intellectual property auctioned off to Horlav General Broadcast Radio Station.
While Mr. Tenebris has faced some public scrutiny over his claims the stories told in The Darkest Hour are real, first-hand accounts, there is no denying his talent.1
He will be formally joining us in about a month’s time, spearheading his newest column, The Latch. We are excited to see what he brings to our artistic menagerie here at the Press.

- The Editors would like to make it explicitly clear that the immediate hiring of Mr. Tenebris is not, in any way, to be interpreted as a hostile action towards Horlav General Broadcast Radio Station, and his hiring with The Horlav Press happened only after the bankruptcy announcement. ↩︎
